Captivation of Lucaphre

A lone scholar sits atop a rocky precipice, consorting with unknown knowledge that lie forbidden for good reason. In an instance the cosmos shifted, undulated, and unfolded before his very eyes - colors yet to be seen thrust into view, alien faces met his mortal gaze. Instead of fear he instead stood by with mouth agape, forever captivated.

This is a collage on black chalk paper, using gel pens, white pens, and microns to create the black and white sections. I, too, was captivated with the process of creating the piece.
