Who am I?
Artist, Educator, Chef, and Plant Enthusiast
A Washingtonian through and through, I am a lover of the Pacific Northwest’s many treasures. I find myself constantly inspired by nature that surrounds us.
I graduated from the University of Washington in 2015, and completed my Master’s at Western Washington University in 2020. I have worked as a Chef at several restaurants, but now work with the youth of America.
I believe work we do towards a better future must be done earnestly, and collaboratively. I try to instill these values in my own journey, trying to leave the world a better place than I found it.
My Creative Philosophy?
I am a classically trained artist, and educator who believes things are rarely as they seem. The smallest act of creative expression can be charged with such humanity, something balancing between the known and the surreal.
Creative expression and art can be done by all. The growth mindset challenges each notion related to not being “good enough.” We are all, collectively, not “good enough… yet.”
