The Stones He Craved

A continuation of collage exploration, The Stones He Craved depicts strange beings from outside of time and space as they manipulate various artifacts. Using splash colors, and different tones of paper, I have formed these artifacts into alien symbols. I am enamored with creating dense areas of crosshatching, and mark-making in my work - here I was able to explore this all the way to edge of the piece. Additionally, I employed the use of metallic, and white gel pens to create marks as negative space.
